The PanHerfrican Platform is an aggregate of multi-sector Gender Action Impact Solutions for Regional Transformation, that serves as a Women Engagement, Education, Empowerment, Employment, E-nnovation and Enterprise Development Accelerator, and activates a women-driven community of Volunteer Citizens to jumpstart regional integration vehicles for peace and unity, as well as promote inclusivity and gender equality opportunities for a net-zero economy based on circular economy and sustainability-based strategies for progressive and transformational change.
The PanHerfrican Initiative recognizes gender equality as a key SDG accelerator and seeks to drive multi-ethnic inclusion, geo-economic integration and religious tolerance to inspire emerging women leaders to build progressive, people-centric partnerships and possibilities that profit the United Africa Dream Agenda. The Campaign is designed to connect, communicate and collaborate with impact-driven women leaders across African nations and communities, empowering their voices to rise to the challenge of “Creating the Africa We Want” to bridge the gender gap towards next generational growth, through the activation of intergenerational policy impact programs that readily activate grassroots level gender-based engagement hubs to accelerate community-driven action to profit the people.
PanHerfrican
Objective
Africa, like many other regions, grapples with deep-rooted gender disparities that affect women's social, economic, and political empowerment. Bridging the gender gap at a regional scale requires concerted efforts towards policy action to promote gender equality, improve access to education and healthcare for women and girls, and challenge societal norms that perpetuate gender discrimination. In the drive for sustainable development, empowering women economically, politically, and socially is acritical path for the actualization of sustainable development and the creation a more inclusive and equitable society. The Global Gender Gap Index measures gender inequality based on four (4) main metrics:
Economic Participation and Opportunity – this includes labour force participation rates, wage equity, earning opportunities, legislators, senior officials and managers (leadership opportunities), professional and technical workers (skills-based opportunities).
Educational Attainment – including primary, secondary and tertiary education.
Health and Survival: this covers healthy living, maternal healthcare access and mortality rates, gender-based violence (VAWG).
Political Empowerment: this explores women in political and public leadership, as well as women’s political participation.
The PanHerfrican Initiative Campaign considers all four (4) global thematic indicators of gender inequality in the development and deployment of a holistic impact programs framework for community-driven and people-centred solutions and action to foster sustainable development across every Nigerian community.
PanHerfrican is structured to create Direct Democracy Impact Investments to accelerate gender-sensitive development action across the nation. The goal is to deploy shared value impact investments for inclusive national development, through people-driven transformation to reshape the future with progressive possibilities driven by Global Goals Innovation for the SDGs; while collaborating with social entrepreneurs to transform policy action programs into people-centric marketplace products for dividends of Democratic Inclusion, one LGA at a time.
